A6 is the largest format in the range and the one to choose when the badge has to carry real information — an agenda, a site map, access levels, emergency details. Because A6 is a standard paper size, artwork and inserts can be printed on ordinary A6 stock without custom trimming, which usually keeps insert costs lower than a bespoke size does.

Most of the branding on an A6 pass happens on the insert, which prints on ordinary A6 stock — so a plain pouch is a light compromise rather than a real loss.

Artwork and proof approval come first.
The printing itself is quick. The time goes into getting the artwork right and having you approve the proof — the step that stops five hundred pouches being printed wrong.
Working to a tight deadline? Send the date with your specification and we will work with you on it. If it cannot be done you will be told that, rather than found out later.
Portrait and landscape are different products, not rotations.
Orientation decides which edge the lanyard slot sits on, so it changes how the badge hangs and how your artwork has to be laid out. Rotating a design ninety degrees is not the same as ordering the other orientation. Tell us how the badge needs to be read and we will confirm it before anything is produced.
How it compares to the other sizes
The largest format in the range, and the only one whose insert is a standard paper size. That second point is the real argument for it: inserts print on ordinary A6 stock with no custom trimming and no bespoke cutting, so the insert side of the job is usually the simplest of any format here even though the pouch itself is the biggest. Note that 140 × 102 mm is wider but not A6 — A6 is the 105 × 150 format, this one.
The mistake to avoid
Weight and swing. This is the largest pass in the range and it moves more on a lanyard than a card pouch does, so it suits accreditation worn for a day or a weekend better than ID worn on a production line. If the wearer is climbing, bending or working overhead, the press-stud format is the honest recommendation instead.
Branding this format
Because the insert is a full A6 sheet, most of the branding here happens on the insert rather than the pouch — a printed programme, a site map, an access matrix. That usually keeps the insert side of the cost down against a bespoke size, because there is no custom cutting to set up.
The lanyard to pair it with
20–25 mm, and this is the format where that matters most: the largest pouch in the range on a narrow strap is the combination most likely to end up twisted the wrong way round. Our standard branded lanyard is 20 mm with a trigger clip.
